Artistic Journey: A 25-year musical journey that began with Western classical music and has evolved to encompass jazz, blues, contemporary and other musical styles. His development has been strongly influenced by aural musicianship, enabling him to explore melody, harmony and rhythm by ear and translate what he hears onto his instruments.

Training & Tradition / Gurus & Mentors: Studied under well-regarded concert pianist Franz Moeller in Albany, Western Australia. Completed AMEB examinations in piano, violin and music theory, achieving Distinctions and Honours across multiple examinations. Has continued developing his skills through online learning with musicians from around the world.

Awards & Recognition: Recipient of first-place awards in a number of piano and violin Eisteddfods and musical talent competitions in Albany and Perth. Achieved Distinctions and Honours across multiple AMEB examinations.

Ensembles / Organisations: Performer with SwaraSynthesis. Performed in the second violin section of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and was selected to facilitate a string workshop for the first violin section with ACO2 (now ACO Collective).

Teaching / Mentoring Experience: Has taught piano, violin and guitar professionally for approximately 12 years, working with students across a wide range of ages, levels and musical styles. Particularly enjoys helping students develop confidence and establish their own connection with music. Selected to facilitate a string workshop with ACO2, focused on mentoring and inspiring young emerging musicians in regional communities.
